Parallel Inspirations

Once again, both myself and Jennie Ing are excited to be showcasing our distinctive trade mark work at the Fountain Gallery near Hampton Court. One of us will be in the gallery every day.

Jennie works from her small garage studio in southwest London printing her many layered colourful linocuts on her treasured 175 year old albion press. She is a member of the Printmakers Council, Greenwich Printmakers and Southbank Printmakers, and has work in the V&A collection, Scarborough Art Gallery archives and private collections. www.jennieingart.co.uk

Teddington Landmark Autumn 23

It’s Art Fair season and I will again exhibiting at the Teddington Landmark Autumn Show Friday 13th to Sunday 15th October. Come find me on stand number 56.

Twice a year – Spring and Autumn – the Landmark Art Fairs provide a unique setting for individual artists that make high quality fine art to exhibit and sell their work direct to the public. No galleries, no dealers, just the artists themselves with a stunning array of painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, printmaking, ceramics and more. Visitors can browse from an array of over 75 stands with artists from the local area and beyond. From watercolour paintings to textural ceramic sculptures.

Lambeth Open 7th and 8th October

I will again be exhibiting with my colleague Kate Bowe in Herne Hill for the Lambeth Open weekend 7th and 8th October, 10am to 6pm, at her pad 17 Regent Road, SE24 0EL.

This annual celebration of South London creativity is a fabulous way to discover some hidden gems tucked away in the borough. Visitors will be able to see inside the artist’s studios and exhibition spaces for a unique personal insight into the individual technical processes.

Just finished my latest child portrait of Albert, a two year old boy living in Singapore, commissioned by his grandfather Jon who lives in Norway. Probably my most international commission so far.

Bear in Mind

I’m rather pleased with my latest painting of Bear, the Cockerpoo, which captures the playful spirit and charm of this beloved pet. Every strand of fur on Bear’s coat has been painted with great care, while the intricate patterns in his fur are highlighted through expert use of light and shadow.

“We just opened the painting – what a wonderful suprise – it is an absolutely incredible piece – just unbelievable – I cannot get over how lifelike it is and how it captures him completely – we are in awe. It’s also perfectly framed and set. I am just lost for words! Thank you so so much!!!”

It’s Our Show

8th – 20th November 2022, a joint show by Jennie Ing and Timothy Sutton.

Both myself and printmaker Jennie Ing are excited to again be showcasing our distinctive trade mark work in our annual show at the Fountain Gallery near Hampton Court Station, East Molesey KT8 9HA. We are looking forward to meeting past and new customers and chatting about our work. I will be in the gallery during the second week. Opening times 11am to 5pm Tuesday to Sunday.

Autumn Landmark Art Fair 14th-16th Oct

It has been a busy Summer as life begins to settle back to post Covid normality. I will again be exhibiting at the Teddington Landmark Autumn Art Fair this weekend Friday 14th to Sunday 16th October. You can use the flyer below to gain 2 for 1 entry or, if you book online before Friday, you can save £1 per visitor at www.landmarkartscentre.org.

The exhibition is open 1pm to 8pm on Friday and then 10am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday. You will find me at my usual stand number 56 which you will find near the beginning of your tour round the show. Hope to see you later.
